Dr. CK Leow

An educational technology integrator and language instructor, I am a Ph.D research graduate from the University Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia. With a background in blended learning design and implementation, I specialise in second language acquisition, mobile learning, and self-regulated learning. I focus on questions such as:

(1) How do different learning strategies affect the acquisition of a second language;

(2) How does mobile-assisted language learning affect the language learning process of school learners;

(3) How do visual-auditory processing and auditory processing meet different language learning objectives in classroom learning;

(4) How does self-regulated learning take place in the computer-assisted language learning classroom.

I have worked with two renowned experts in the fields of second language acquisition and instructional design, in USM and Peking Univerisity (PKU) in Beijing, China. My Ph.D research projects were funded by the Malaysian government and Chinese government. I have published articles in various journals and conferences.
